Deep in the belly
a colossal woodland - Blighted & wilted
Left in the lurch
I feel the faith

infantile hope disappear
Its vice grip has left
my fountains essence
Withered and dry.

Starvation has besieged
the matters of gray
Somber circles appear around my perception’s author
A stomach in knots
Twisted like these archaic elms
Heaving bile towards
The soil canvas
Limbs wrapped around a trembling shape
To the vanishing heavens I turn an impaling gaze
my lips bring forth a crackle noise

“Break me
For I have come
from a place of hardened hearts
Who stoically watch
the carcass decay...
Callous witnesses to rites of mourning
With gaping mouths replete with worthless words

Summoning hordes of flies and locust

Yet Not one can declare
Why we suffer…”

My ancestors claim that it is you
who has knowledge to eliminate
The fogs of our plight
In this forest of old
you’ve sent back many who’ve failed
So at last my will
rings a contrasting note.

Return us to dust
I plead before
These passing ages
Squander.
We’re not deserving of any form of grace



My Lowland tongue chokes
Mercy only comes in verses of lullabies

There are no Gods
Who had in mind the design we destroyed
Left to our desires
All we know is agony.
In this hour of ruin
Devastation's gale approaches
An tattered
vail
Hiding the heroes of the past
The time is now
To embrace the wild within
I begin to weep as the
Scouring reverie takes hold.
